The Athenaeum, Mayfair

It was our last meal with my Mum in London so we tried to find something special. The more expensive the restaurant, the more I pay attention to little details… so I guess this just wasn’t that good. Plus I had three weeks of Mum’s home cooking so my standards were raised to quite a high level. : P

Onion skin tables. I liked this.

Rasa Sayang, Chinatown

I love Malaysian curry. The food was chilli and really tasty. I forgot to photograph the morning glory which never fails to be my favourite dish.

Kew Gardens was so different to when I last visited. We’re still getting through Winter so I don’t blame the flowers for not coming out. It wasn’t quite warm enough to just relax on the grass, however the sun was out so the walking through the big open space with a bit of warmth on my skin made me happy. Another thing that made me happy was that my sister claimed I was 16 years old so they let me in free. hahahha.

In the Princess of Wales Conservatory. Loved the colours.

I liked the hanging orchids the best. It reminded me of the optical fibres that I found mesmerising.

Taken from Waterloo Bridge.
