A week of culture
February 9th, 2010
Daniel came to London so it was a great excuse to see/do as much as we could for the week.
Saatchi Gallery

Shunt Money. This was sooooo cooool. They built a three level container inside a warehouse then throughout the show you are taken up and down the stairs whilst actually being a part of the show. I would love to spoil the entire experience by explaining it. But maybe another time. It was just so so so good.

Central St Martin’s exhibition at Shoreditch House

We accidentally stumbled into an award show for furniture and plates etc.

A play called Six Characters Looking for an Author.

Making stuff at Tate Britain.

Kinetica Art Fair 2010.

A three course modern European dinner. : )

Cream of parsnip soup with shitake mushrooms and water cress.

Pan fried salmon with cherry tomatoes, baby leeks and a carrot & ginger puree.

Crepes with mixed berries and banana mascarpone.

Amazing and delicious as always.
Darwin Centre Cocoon
January 31st, 2010
We went to the Darwin Centre Cocoon in the Natural History Museum for reasons that we were just curious, I guess. During the day you can watch scientists working, but we went during a late night opening session of the museum so no one was there except one woman who entertained us for a little while.

Everything seems to be interactive now. We were all given little cards with barcodes to scan when you want to store information for browsing later on the internet.
